She was scorching as the lead singer of Berlin in the middle and late '80's. I wasn't really big on
"Take My Breath Away" (Berlin's number one hit from "Top Gun"), though; I preferred their earlier singles, like "Masquerade",
"No More Words" and "The Metro". Berlin was my friend Kevin's favorite band, though he's since moved on
to classic rock like Eric Clapton. I know that Berlin and other retro new-wave bands sound dated now, but I still enjoy
listening to them. A few years ago, I saw Terri Nunn (with the current incarnation of Berlin) performing in downtown
Las Vegas; she still sings well and looks great.
