Calista Flockhart has a face worthy of her first name, which means "most beautiful" in Greek.
After graduating from Rutgers, Flockhart was a relatively obscure stage actress until she landed a
part in the 1994 Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie". Her portrayal of Laura brought
her a Theatre World Award; the same year, she made her on-screen debut in "Quiz Show". In 1997, Flockhart began playing
Ally McBeal, who became a pop-culture icon. Flockhart was twice nominated for a Golden Globe and twice for
a Screen Actor's Guild award during the show's six-season run. She has also been part of impressive ensemble casts in
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" (1998) and "Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her" (2000).
